Slackware 8 Uninstalling

Right another newbie question. So i untarred and unzipped and ''made'' my downloaded proggie in my /home directory. (propably th wrong one; but thats my last question) Anyway how do i uninstall my program. Should I unmake'' it? (how do I do that) And what is the best way to get rid of all files from that program... I want to that as fast as possible without polluding my sustem with program files...

To 'unmake' you would type 'make uninstall' But that's only if the person who made the file also made an unistall for it. If you didn't do a make install yet, then you are still ok. No install stuff has been done as far as I can remember.
