Saving users, password, and group settings for reinstall
So I have a fedora core 1 machine which I am thinking of switching (maybe fedora 4 when it comes out) at any rate, there is about 20 user names on this machine with a variety of groups set up for different users to have access to certain shared files etc. What files should I copy over if I would like the users, their passwords, and groups to be the same under a new distro install. Stupidly I didnt setup a separate /home partition, but I can make a copy of that before I wipe the box. Things I am guessing /etc/group and such should be copied for the new system, but am not sure about where the password are and anything else I should copy.
