printer problems

I unplugged my printer from the usb port and now that it is back in the computer doesn't recognize it no matter what I try. Is there some trick I'm missing? Distro is FC2 and printer is HP psc 1210. Thanks.

May be you may have to run kudzu (name slightly doubtful) to check your printer configuration as it may have been deleted. (I refer the configuration as : that stays on your computer as a set of files or a single file) . Try finding some help on HP's website for any particular help.
