I am trying to install a lexmark z33 printer, I have downloaded the lexmark printer drivers for it but I use libranet 2.8.1 and I get this error message, is there anyway to get around this problem? I have tried to setup CUPS but all it does is suck the paper through when I am done. This is the error message I get thanks for any help

rpm: To install rpm packages on Debian systems, use alien. See README.Debian.

i think libranet is debian-based, so it uses apt-get instead of rpm.
You can either apt-get your deb package (i recommend this), or use alien -i packagename.
