KDE menu configuration...

OK... so I completely botched my box and ended up doing clean installs of both my W98/Linux partitions. Previously (and I don't remember how I did this) I had the menus set up to display a whole lot of applications. I tried to reconfig this through the KDE control center and when I try to use the SuSE menu option (either by itself or in conjunction with the KDE) I get no breakdown of applications at all. I end up with five item K menu.

Anyway, this is SuSE 7.3 and I've basically run out of ideas. I know that this setup is possible because I did it before. Any clues to distribute?

thanks.
