Hello,
I downloaded and installed Clawpack 4.3. Now I want to run and plot the Praograms. In Makefile is the following:
Makefile for the code-lib:
#
# To make an executable, type: make xclaw
# (From the application sub-directory)
#
# To compile a single file.f type: make file.o
# (From the application sub-directory)
#
# To compile the lib library file type: make claw1
# (From the sub-directory claw/clawpack/1d/lib)
#
# To combine all source files type: make programmatic
# (From the application sub-directory)
# (Sometimes easier to debug all in one)
The first step is ok. The second, I get the error:
make: *** No rules for »file.o« .
And the third, "make claw1", comes the error:
f77 -O claw1.f -o claw1
/usr/lib/gcc/i586-suse-linux/4.5/../../../crt1.o: In function `_start':
/usr/src/packages/BUILD/glibc-2.11.3/csu/../sysdeps/i386/elf/start.S:115: undefined reference to `main'
/tmp/ccO0Gd8a.o: In function `claw1_':

claw1.f: (.text+0x56f): undefined reference to `step1_'
claw1.f: (.text+0x84f): undefined reference to `copyq1_'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [claw1] Fehler 1
Maybe someone could help me please?
Thanks in advance.
Please place your long list or data output within the vbcode tags. You will find the # for code & Quote (balloon to the left of #) at the top of the reply window. This will make your post cleaner therefore easier to read.
Look at: claw-users Discussion of issues of interest to users. Members can post questions. This will get you targeted responses. Plus look at Clawpack.
Possibly Linux - Software This forum is for Software issues.
Having a problem installing a new program? Want to know which application is best for the job? Post your question in this forum.
I could move your thread to that forum but no guarantees for a response. Best bet would be to join Google (it's free to join) and go to the suggested group by developers.
