hi, what im looking for is a site thats free that i can access a linux bash console to practise with. I'm aware such things exist, but cannot find one anywhere? can anyone give me a link so i can finally try out some of my bash commands without risking messing up my box!
If you have Linux installed and I see you have RH 8, you can practice as much as you want logged in as ordinary user, not root and not mess up your box
yeah that would work but unfortunately its not actually for me its for a friend and my box isnt always available to them. A actual link would be preferable
Actually...
Freeshell is not completely free (as I mentioned above) nor Linux (which I did not-it's BSD).
It IS a great place to have a shell account. Bash is not the default shell but you can change it.
