Comments on tutorial books

Hello all,

I'm gearing up to obtain my linux+ cert. I'm playing with the transcender and at the same time playing with a RHEL5 server.

I'm learning a lot and even though the two are very good tools for learning i'm about half way there.

I am looking for some paperback material for the extra push in the right direction. After checking the linux+ site they listed three books that are comptia approved...

CompTIA Linux+ Certification Study Guide Mcgraw-Hill / Osborne 2004 Objectives

Linux+ Study Guide, 3rd Edition Sybex 2004 Objectives

Linux+ XK0-002 In Depth Thomson Course Technology 2004 Objectives

what scares me today is the 2004 part... i don't see anything for 2009. even though I'm sure the basics hasn't changed too much between the years I'm still hesitant about them.

I was wondering if anyone has purchased any of those books and had any positive or negative feedback on them.

Thanks

Easiest is just to contact Linux+/Comptia direct and ask them. Get it straight from the horse's mouth
