I was looking at the
www.linux-laptop.net site for another thread and I came upon this site, the Windows Refund HOWTO. Its all perfectly legitimate as long as you DO NOT accept the End User License Agreement (EULA). It all revolves round this single statment in the EULA:

YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS EULA BY INSTALLING, COPYING, OR OTHERWISE USING THE PRODUCT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT INSTALL
