Hi,

I am using Fedora Core1

and i am quite new to linux gaming

couldn't run windows games with wine on my linux machine so i tried some pure

linux games

I downloaded the wolfstein single player demo from http://www.3Ddownloads.com/

and installed it.

installtion went fine

[root@localhost installations]# sh wolfspdemo-linux-1.1b.x86.run

Removing existing wolfspdemo symlink

First,...

Do me a favor,...
Whatever editor you are using to dump text into the text box to post,... stop. Please just type it right into the text box. The text will wrap to the next line for you. You needn't use hard line returns.

Second, from your other post, I glean you hadn't yet gamed in Linux. It appears your OpenGL implementation is not set up.

Describe your graphics system: Graphics card, graphics chipset, memory, monitor... and I would also strongly suggest upgrading to FC2 or FC3 or another distro. FC1 is old now.
