Adding software to 'Backtrack2' usb drive

As part of my 'IT course I had to setup a diag/fault finding distro on a bootable 'USB' stick, I chose 'Backtrack2' as the distro.

All works well, bootable from a number of different pc's, the only thing I would like is to add a couple of 'Linux' hard drive utilities eg. - 'qtparted' or an equivalent to the 'USB' collection.

Is it possible for some help to achieve this aim, as I am just learning to handle 'Linux'?

Not sure, but since BT2 is based on Slax and Slackware, it might be possible to install software intended for them.
