Edit System Generated Desktop Icon

When I log on to a destop (Gnome) using Debian64, my /home directory for the Debian32 system shows up on the Desktop as a mounted drive, (and vice versa). Dual boot ... fstab entry: "/dev/hda9 /mnt/home32 ext3 defaults 0 0"

What I don't like is that the icon is labelled "/home." I'd like to change the label to "Home32" or something different. Is that possible?

iirc you should be able to just right-click on the icon, select properties and change it from there.
if not, try to open the file under /home/you/Desktop with some text editor. There should be a file in there for each desktop entry you have

None of that works. If I try to open properties, even as root, and attempt to change the label, I get a message that says "can't rename this file." There is no file in /home/Desktop for this icon.
