Desktop-Icon

Hi,

I need to write some simple(no movement only a click to start app) desktop icons for a kiosk. I use GTK so where do I start? With a GDKWindow and a pixmap in it? Any idees. I am pretty new to GTK.

How do I get these Icon to be at the bottom all the time?

How do I do it with a WM that does not have a icon-desktop service.

I think I will look in the gnome code.
