Desktop Icon


How Can I get the desktop icon in the taskbar in red hat 9?

Hmmm...do you mean the Home icon? I am not sure if that is what you are looking for.

If it is, click your redhat icon (Start Button so to speak) go to"Home" right click/add to panel.

I think csosa means the 'show desktop' icon. The instructions are roughly the same though, right click the 'taskbar' click 'add' and select (I think as I'm not in RH at the moment) special applet, it should be in there. If not, have alook in the other options available, I added it a while back.
