can't install Linspire

I don't know what is wrong.

I downloaded the Linspire version via Bittorrent.

But it is not letting me install.

when i do the needful for an install, the screen turns grey, and nothin further up!

Moreover, I can do well from the Live CD

what may be wrong?

Did you check the md5sum (checksum) of your download? It may have come down corrupted.

There wasn't any available.

BUt is it possible, that the Live Cd will run fine, even though the CD is corrupt?

I think that the CD may be corrupt, and I did not run the MD5 check on it.
