Well my LQN buddies and fellow music lovers this one deserves a bit of a warning. This one is fscking deep and not one for the faint of heart. It made me cry like a damn baby, but I think it is ultimately worth it. It's beautiful and finally uplifting if you can take it that way. I was gonna post the lyrics but I think it might be best to just hear it first.

And I know you're not the only one doing this, but usually folks are just lazy, posting a mere YT link without any additional info.
You, however, wrote a whole parapgraph to lure us in, without even trying to narrow it down musically.

Yeah I figured the quality of the lyrics, depth of the content, and smooth performance was far more important than "guy with a guitar and a cowboy hat" or his name and song title. I figure if you know his name you probably already heard it. I don't know how you prefer to use this thread but I have discovered lots of Music new to me I probably wouldn't have stumbled on, on my own. Sorry our choices and uses didn't mesh on that one.
In truth, my post may have been strongly influenced by a severely tough week. My ex-wife, whom I never stopped loving, just couldn't live with and largely because of "pushing it down and coming out sideways", and who was also the mother of my only Son who had to witness her horrible death from Covid last week, due to the fact that half the nurses in the St. Croix hospital were not vaccinated.
So along those lines and also as an olive branch to you, here's James Taylor, "Fire and Rain". He is a guy with a guitar but though he does sometimes wear hats, I'm pretty sure it's rarely a cowboy hat
