Here's a couple of potent Power Ballads

Check this little sample of the lyrics...

This one is by longtime friends of mine, The Nighthawks, back when Jimmy played and sang Lead and has a sweet blend of musical forms

Currently listening to my Discover Weekly playlist on Spotify. While I like the curation, the playlist is a hit or miss. But, when it hits, I find some true gems.

Manuel Göttsching - E2-E4

I can't remember a one-track album being this absorbing since listening to Troum & All Sides' Shutűn.

OK, it's not nominally one track but it plays as one.

Véronique Sanson & Chi Coltrane

... I think Véronique was drunk. A lot at that time. But she is no more. Fortunately.

That said...

Some great medieval music:

Oliphant - Deus ad un turnei enpris: Songs from the crusades

And something a bit more serene and downbeat, Medieval Chants of the Russian North.

Both albums freely downloadable.

Sometimes I just like to listen to whatever random YouTube sends me and this girl, in my opinion, has a great voice though I'm not a great fan of the style of music.
