Here's my picks for Chuck Berry's wake whose influence runs so deep and wide it is very likely impossible to truly assess.

--- Nadine ---

or for the nearly nsfw version

Barely Legal Nadine

and a great great car song

-- No Money Down --

Since IMHO just about anyone who appreciates modern music should know a LOT more about Chuck Berry than just Johnny B. Goode I am a bit more intrigued by the uncommon such as (BIG shout out here!) DougG's post of Zephyr tunes. I knew those guys, still carry on with David and back then jammed a few tunes with Candy at The Blue Note. They deserve a lot more than just being remembered as the launching pad for Tommy Bolin. Great as he was, he was by no means the only one from that band.

Here's a gem

-- Zephyr from Sunset Ride ---

If you love bluesy-jazzy, hard rockin' speeding ticket music you owe it to yourself to seek out their music.

Our cable provider carries Classic Arts Showcase every Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. We don't tune into it every Sunday, but we do enjoy it from time to time. It's a potpourri of excellence.

I like music from the 40's to the 90's. In the genre of easy listening, doo wop, pop, rock, classic rock. classic country and a little bit of classical music.

I currently listening to a playlist of 50's doo wop on my spotify app.

-cheers
