Or why don't we remember our past life when we reincarnate?

Come on, Enorbet! If you want theology, there's millions of books out there that you can read. All I can say is that for Christians, Jesus is not a distant figure in the past but a living presence in our lives. From the moment that we accept him as Lord and Saviour, we live in him and he in us. So of course we share both his death and his risen life. That indeed is the whole point of being a Christian. These are the experiences, witnessed to us by our friends and then shared by ourselves that constitute the evidence on which we base our faith.

If you haven't made the same choices, you won't have the same experiences. Fine! God respects your freedom to make your own decisions. But you can't blame us Christians for not being very impressed when you discount our experiences, which you have not shared, simply because you don't understand them or believe that they are real.

OK Hazel I will accept that excepting one item - Whatever do you mean by "blame"? I don't think I have ever once strayed from my position that while I openly consider Faith to be essentially speculation and poor judgement, I also have no problem whatsoever what anyone speculates about privately. That is each person's private business. This, however, I took to be a thread for discussing our personal stances on the subject of religious faith. It was not my desire to make you feel uncomfortable.

how old are you? 5?

then again we do not fight war, wars are people fighting against each other. mostly because of one person and another person disagreeing about something.

So they send out others to fight wars for them while they stay at home sipping on sprite.

is that relating to USA wars, and not all wars over the entire history of mankind?
USA, it is a capital Country, and everything it does is to, "stop the destruction of the American way." which is governed or motivated by greed, or the love of money. Because it brings freedom, and where its own citizens are discriminated on the merit of how much money they have in there pocket. But no, American is an equal opportunity country, the land of milk and honey.

America has gotten so greedy and this world too, that in all of the price hikes to make a bigger buck so as to become a Billionaire. Companies can no longer afford to even operate in its own (USA) country. thus moving to a lower income country to keep the big money pouring into their pockets.

that is just a bit of it. but yes, wars stimulate the economy. So, wars are good in the eyes of the greedy. As long as they are not the ones being shot at, and it is the other guys that are actually making the money for them.

the latter of success work structure, the less you do the more you make. Because they got someone else doing all of the work for them, while taking the credit for all of the work.

Georgetown Study: Religion Worth $1.2 Trillion in U.S. Economy, More Than Google and Apple Combined

Religion is just another Cog in the system, that's why you don't talk it like politics. I'd have to call you all morons but won't exclude myself!

Fairy tales get fairy tales, I could kill you and be forgiven and on and on and off...

As Hazel pointed out you're refusal to educate yourself more on the topic you're trying to destroy within your own mind, and to your own self hope to take others with you in that same destruction. Which is deeply rooted in self denial. Becase you just keep ranting the same thing, its just a fairy tail, then by using your basis for argument to try and back up that conclusion.

Is well, A every big lacking in the understanding of true Christianity.

It to me looks like you're just taking what you hear "on the streets" and see on TV and read in the papers.

Leaving out the source of Christianity.

Yes, there is a vast amount of fakers out there using the name of Christ as a means for their monumental wealth. as their is a lot of other fakers using a belief system to gain their wealth off of other people.

If it is not that then it is a Business with a mission statement, that the one that came up with it, tries to get others to believe in it too so again they can use them to gain there personal monument wealth.

The reason I m sitting here right now feeling reluctant in having to try and explain to you a grown man, well over the age of 18, I am sure, and have been in this world long enough to use what God gave to to actually figure out problems and issues, and use this intellect to help yourself gain understanding of not only this world you see around you, but of others and why they do what they do, and how mankind actually operates.

What motivates man to do what he does, in all that he does.

your blatant lack of understanding of not only yourself, but of others. Leaves me with that feeling of why bother trying to educate you in anything of the matters of man. When all you're going to do is close your mind down and shout out, its just a fairy tail.

then clump everything into one big lump, and not even pick it apart to understand how it works. Like you would a bash script, or some program written in a C or whatever language it is in.

Might get more results out of beating a dead house then talking to a stubborn man that does not want to listen to reason. Only spit out mockery and insults, perhaps, due to his own bad experiences in life about that in which he now hates.

You have no real true understanding about that in which you mock, so you mock and hate what you do not know, or understand. Like so many others.
That too is a trait of an ignorant person. A person like that perhaps believes ignorance is bliss. So in order to keep himself in this false state of bliss, he mocks what he does not truly understand to keep himself in that state of mind.

Talk about believing in fair tails.

as the saying goes to them that point fingers at others.
You got three fingers pointing right back at you.

If you re-read the megathread, I went to Sunday school as a kid. I knew they were fairy tales then and now!

There will always be questions with no answers you can either know we won't know or make them up IE fairy tales, theories on and on!

where at and again as you forget, I bet it is a Protesting Sunday School, ... I cannot recount your childhood, to make you think a man called Jesus was a fairy tail, (as pointed out to you, I bet, more than once, there are even Roman Documents to prove that Jesus was a real man and still is), or believe that a man called st. Christopher never existed.

You can blame the secular world, which is the world you live in for Santa Clause, which is loosely based on St. Christopher's life.

There will always be questions with no answers you can either not know or make them up IE fairy tales on and on!

that is where faith comes in, and even you exercise this thing called faith.

But, I bet you never really put that to thought have you?
when you actually use it, nor call it a fairy tail when you do exercise your faith in something, or someone.

also pointed out to you was the truth about people using Jesus name for their own personal gain. be it money, fame, self glorification, or whatever other reasons to feed their egos, or all of the reasons to do so.

so now it seems all you do is look for the bad in everything , so yes you will find it.

Try looking for the good in things, Perhaps you will not be filled with so much hate, and discontent.
