Thanks. I haven't actually used Linux yet, so what you see in the screenshot is Mac OS X. I use an app called Spy to generate the on-demand screenshot, but I can find no equivalent for Linux except Itaka which no files have been released for.

macskeeball: Thats cool. I just bought my first Mac (iBook) a few weeks ago which I am now giving to the wife so I can get a little more modern of a model. This one is an older 300mhz Blueberry iBook running Gentoo only. It's prob not powerful enough to effectively run Mac OS and didn't come with the cd's anyway. I am getting a 700mhz model next week that I will dual boot between OSX and Gentoo. I'll probably use OSX maybe 10% of the time but I think I will enjoy having the option. Also, being able to run OSX on Linux will enable me to use Photoshop without even leaving my *nix environment. I can't wait

Actually, if you used OS X you wouldn't be leaving *nix. OS X is *nix, and can run command line software in the Terminal app (located in /Applications/Utilities) and can run X11 software. Of course, it has the added advantage of running a ton of commercial software, being user-friendly, and looking great!

Yea, I know but it's not open source . User friendly isn't something I am overly concerned with either. But, being able to run commercial apps without Windows is important. After using Linux for a little over a year I can't imagine not having the same complete control over my PC as Linux gives me.

Oh yea: Looks are important too
Fluxbox makes for killer screenshots in Linux!!!

Nukem: I really dig that Tux X Linux wallpaper on 2 of those screenshots. Do you remember where you got it, or could you email it to me by chance?
