All of the games in my latest screen shots are native to Linux. I also use wine to play most of my games, it's getting really good, World of Warcraft runs out of the box now, as do a lot of my Windows games. I suggest using the lastest version from www.winehq.org though, one version can make a lot of difference.

Oh, I only see U2k4 in your screenshot. I have that so I'll try and load that up. Are their many people still playing that online? I never did get quite enough of it-fun game. Also, thanks for the info on the latest Wine. What other big title are linux native supported? I have the U2k4 DVD install disk (I have limited edition). Is it the same install Disk for windows/linux on U2k4?

Also, here's my latest screenshot. Rockin the Rocco.

Here is the latest screenshot that I am using. It features New Zealand's highest mountain - Mount Cook - which used to be 12349 feet until a bit fell off the top a few years ago.

OS is Xandros 3.02 Open Circulation Edition. I have tweaked it a bit to include Open Office 2.04, Mailwasher Pro v 1.1.2, Thunderbird 1.5.0.9, Firefox 2.0.0.1, Google Earth.

The icons that I use are all along the bottom so the scenery is left clear. This image comes courtesy of another Xandros forum member who kindly saved it in his photobucket account when I had trouble setting up my own.

Hey thanks! I'm a big VW person. This is the new Scirocco that is supposed to be released by 2008! I had a 88 16v Turbo Scirocco that I drove for a few years as well as a 87 16v GLI Jetta I drove for 10years. I'm hoping to be driving in the new Scirocco sometime in the future.

I managed to get Unreal 2k4 installed this morning. However, I got a graphics error when launching it! So, guess it's time to goto the video drawing boards so to speak. Don't know how well my ATI x800xt is going to work on my SUSE load as I haven't tired any 3d or games yet. The 2D seems just fine. I need to check out some of the aforementioned audio streaming utilities people mentioned here. I'm currently using lastfm proxy server. Works pretty good. Other than that my linux boxes are humming along quite nicely.

Due to the mammoth nature of this thread, I am closing it with a pointer to a new thread with the same topic where it can be continued. If you have any questions, let me know.
