Seems like an odd story; I used to run the SETI@home program - it's basically a screensaver that doesn't run if the computers aren't being used. And.. a million dollars to remove it? Please, it has a "uninstall button". One click! Hope it's the AP press that are morons not the school super.

BTW according to other sources, the guy was let go because he was downloading illicit material involving nude people, not because of space alien searches.
