Hmmm---nothing to do---makes me wonder why you went to school.
What is (was) your field of study? Do you have a job lined up?
Go to sourceforge and browse the different Open-Source projects to see what help they are looking for.
For me----Please figure out why the Gutenprint driver for GIMP won't print 4x6 full-bleed. (Gimp-print would do it)

Wite a GUI for mplayer that includes all/most of it's options. Like encoding.
So users will be able to use one GUI to do everything mplayer is capable of.

Are you creative? In the sense like Arts(paintings/drawings), performing Arts(music/song/dance) or in terms of CGI(designs/animation/modelling)??

I think you should do programmers everywhere a favor and implement the DWIM command.
What? You don't know what the DWIM command is? Well, let me enlighten you.
