Must be Stephanie Meyer because it was not a horror movie.

We had a brief movie thread in 2013:

The ones I mentioned back then I still rank highly.

Dugan,

Surprised more folks did not post their favorites.

San Andreas in 3d was pretty good.

$4.00 was steep for the glasses. :-)

The Chronicles of Riddick.
Cool Hand Luke.

I have ~400 DVDs in my collection. and only 2-5 are dubious.
All the others are original DVDs produced by the studios.
I don't have CHL, though, bummer.

I thought Big Trouble was real good too.

Pacific Rim has some really good special effects.

It's hard to pick favorites, but some dramatic feature films from the last few years that I enjoyed would be:

Fury
Her
Star Trek: Into Darkness
Children Who Chase Voices from Deep Below
Rebuild of Evangelion 2.0: You Cannot Advance
14 Blades
The Man From Nowhere
X-Men: Days of Future Past
The Orphanage

I'll be dating myself . . . .

Casablanca. Best movie ever made.

The Collector (The Butterfly Collector in the UK). The most chilling movie I've ever seen.

The Maltese Falcon.

Beach Red.

The Enemy Below.

Young Frankenstein.

Airplane.

Raiders of the Lost Ark.

The Vampire Lovers (a piece of trash, but it was really good trash).
