Un día, en 2015, me encontré con este Versículo en un devocional....

Por eso, Jesús les habló de nuevo, diciendo: “Yo soy la luz del mundo. El que me sigue no caminará en la oscuridad, sino que tendrá la luz de la vida”. Juan 8:12 (SBLM)

Hi everyone

The Lord has been directing me to an entry in another one of my devotionals* entitled "A High Calling" that has to do with the teachers we've had in our lives, the battle against ignorance that they wage, the lack of appreciation overall for their profession as opposed to others (in our society) and to give God thanks for those that have taught us and for "the lifelong value of their investment in you."

I happened to come across this Verse in a devotional a few days ago....

"Jesus spoke to the people once more and said, "I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life." John 8:12 (NLT)

But why is Jesus the light and what is darkness? Wasn't He some great teacher who taught that everyone should live in peace and harmony with one another? Yes...but there's a LOT more....
