ok heres my problem im trying to update my newly installed FC4 w/ yum....i enter the command: "yum update" as root and it looks all well and dandy until it trys to install the upgraded kernel heres my problem:

Error: Unable to satisfy dependencies
Error: Package GFS-kernel needs /lib/modules/2.6.12-1.1398_FC4, this is not available.
Error: Package gnbd-kernel needs /lib/modules/2.6.12-1.1398_FC4, this is not available.
Error: Package dlm-kernel needs /lib/modules/2.6.12-1.1398_FC4, this is not available.
Error: Package cman-kernel needs /lib/modules/2.6.12-1.1398_FC4, this is not available.

when i tried to aquire these dependencies through yum it tells me that it cant retrieve them....any suggestions??? thanx in advance

Did you configure yum before trying to download? If not, have a look here for more info.
