nVidia crash ?

i guys,
i have installed FC12 into a quosmio laptop, 4 GB of memory, intel i3, and a nvdia video card. Every thing goes fine but when playing videos, after 2 hours the laptop crash: the sound video goes into an infinite loop, and the allowed action is to power of the computer.

Code:
lspci|grep nVidia
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation Device 0cb1 (rev a2)
01:00.1 Audio device: nVidia Corporation Device 0be4 (rev a1)

modprobe nvidia
WARNING: Deprecated config file /etc/modprobe.conf, all config files belong into /etc/modprobe.d/.
May you give some directions in order to track thi problem ?

thanks in advance,

hector

I concur, overheating of the CPU most likely.

What is the model of the laptop, when was it first bought, and when was it last cleaned/blowed with compressed air (not with too much force!!!, gentler, weaker air pressure!!)

It says that nVidia drivers could be the problem. If I remember correctly, there was overheating problem with noveau nVidia driver, and solution was proprietary driver. If you use proprietary driver, pleas install it from RPMFusion repositories (kmod-nvidia I think). Someone familiar with Fedora process should step-up and help you, since I am on CentOS.
