keyring manager docs for gnome

Does anybody know where to find a good howto on how to use the gnome keyring manager? I've googled, but only come up with instructions on how to download keys for repositories like debian multimedia, gpg keys, etc. I'm looking for instructions on how to operate the gnome multimedia keyring program, it's interface, and how to lock and unlock programs.

For instance, Evolution now asks me for my password before it fetches my mail and it didn't used to. I don't know if that's a new Evolution feature or some bad setting in my keyrings. I cannot figure how to make it stop, though. Thanks in advance.
