install source code using apt

Hi,
I've never installed source code using apt so I don't know how to set it up.I have several questions really but the source code is the most important.

More specifically the source code for Glade user interface builder.

More specifically to add a widget.

More specifically a canvas widget to add a drawing area to my program .

But if you tell me how to apt get the glade source I think I will eventually figure the rest out.

Thank you for tolerating me.

All you need to get the source of the app you want is make sure that you have a deb-src matching the deb line in your sources.list.

Code:
## Unstable Sources
deb http://ftp2.de.debian.org/debian/ sid main contrib non-free
deb-src http://ftp2.de.debian.org/debian/ sid main contrib non-free
Then apt-get update and and usually you should make a directory that you change into when getting the source with apt-get source glade this downloads into the directory you created if going to build the package then you will want to do apt-get build-dep glade. I never used glade so have no clue what you need to for that part.

Thanks ,it worked perfect.
I was trying to use synaptic ,duh.
Glade is really only good for example code.
I'm going to have to actually understand it to write my program.

Which is by the way a great idea looking for some skilled programmers.
