icons in evolution are gone after upgrade

running debian testing with some unstable. I upgraded a few days ago and now the icons in evolution are red x's. Everything is functional. Is there something I need to apt-get install to get my icons back?

I think you might need the testing gnome icon theme.
Code:
apt-get install gnome-icon-theme/testing

thanks but....
apt-get install gnome-icon-theme/testing
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Selected version 2.14.2-1 (Debian:testing) for gnome-icon-theme
gnome-icon-theme is already the newest version.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 377 not upgraded.

Not sure what else it could be.
Might be one of those things that mysteriously fixes itself after a couple of apt-get upgrades.

Evolution Missing Icons: Workaround

I run a Debian/testing system.
On email lists, some people report this fixed the problem:
gtk-update-icon-cache /usr/share/icons/hicolor/
It didn't work for me, probably because I'm using a non-default theme with non-default icons. Changing my theme to use default icons fixed the problem. How to make this change is described below:

From the desktop panel select: Desktop -> Preferences -> Theme This opens the "Theme Preferences" window.
Click the "Theme Details" button. This opens the "Theme Details" window.
Click the "Icons" tab. Select "GNOME" from the list. Click "Close".
In the "Theme Preferences" window, Click close.
Restart evolution 2.6. The icons should be there.
