No Icons on my Evolution install...
Hi, i'm running mepis 3.4.3 and was trying to get Evolution up and running as it has the calendar/mail/other stuff i need..
Mepis uses KDE, and i have ugraded to kde 3.5.2
When i used Synaptic package manager to install Evolution, it all installed fine, and i got the install wizard, and it all works, except no icons in the toolbar or down the taskpad on the side.. all i get are some red X markers indicating where the icons should be...
Help About on Evolution shows
Evolution 2.4.2.1
My sources.list looks like this
Quote:
# See sources.list(5) for more information
# This file should be edited through synaptic
# New sources should be added only in the section at the end of this file!
I had the same problem with Evolution running on KDE. I did not have GNOME installed, and Evolution apparently uses icon images that are part of GNOME. I don't remember exactly which GNOME-related package I installed to solve the problem, but I *think* it's called something like "gnome-icon-theme." My system is FC, so the package name may differ.
