I got talked into doing a new website. I'm struggling with the WordPress editor but it's readable. (WordPress used to be simple HTML, now it's all this block editing crap.)
It was a joke. I'm a fan of Abishek Prakash's really good It's FOSS website. But he takes occasional crap for recommending or reviewing non-FOSS apps. I'm all for FOSS but it shouldn't be the only choice, and if a non-FOSS choice is better, I use it. So I'm Moss. And It's MOSS is about *MOSTLY* Open Source Software....

OK. I'm old. People ask me to tell them about my journey with Linux, but it goes back further than that.
When I was a Senior in High School (1969), living in the Los Angeles area, we first heard about pocket calculators. We laughed. Who would want to pay $250 for something to help you with basic math? Sure, the idea that computing had come that far was exciting.

We completed another episode of mintCast, the podcast from the Linux Mint community for all users of Linux. We had 5 of the usual cast (out of 7) and a special guest. I messed up my own audio by doing something on my computer during the broadcast but nobody will know it happened; indeed, I had to figure it out for myself. But we have great audio editors and lots of backups. Now the audio will be combined and then split into two shows, one released next Tuesday and the other the following Tuesday....
I tried to install Sabayon on my Kudu 3. I couldn't even get it to finish loading the live system. I downloaded a new copy in case that was the issue, but it didn't fix a thing. So I installed OpenMandriva Lx 4.1 on the Kudu, freeing up my OM4 partition on my desktop, and went to install Sabayon onto the desktop. It looked like I had succeeded, which is a lot farther than I got on the Kudu, but updating did not work right. I did a lot of updates using Rigo when the terminal stuff didn't work, but...
