My laptop has now gone from a single partition to 2 to 3 and now 4, featuring Linux Mint 19.3, Pearl OS 9, Bodhi 5.1 and now Manjaro Cinnamon. The last one was just added a couple nights ago. And while I had been keeping things simple on my desktop, I had fun playing with GPartEd tonight, getting rid of an unneeded GRUB partition (the boot is from EFI) and moving things around to where I have 3 partitions and over 8 Gb of Swap, with Linux Mint, Bodhi 5.1, and... Well, I was going to try Manjaro...

If you've been reading my blogs or listening to my podcasts (mintCast, Distrohoppers' Digest), you know that I love checking out various distros, and that I keep a box of USB sticks with various distros ready to go in case I need to change something or someone I know would like to try Linux. On top of that, my other podcast, Distrohoppers' Digest, has released its 13th episode, about one per month since Tony Hughes and I started it in April 2019, and we're...
I spent some time today successfully setting up a box I inherited when a friend died a few years ago. It is in surprisingly good condition with great specs except for the i3 CPU in it, and is easily upgraded to an i5 or i7 or even Xeon. I cloned my M.2 SSD in the Galago Pro 2, but made some errors getting it installed; I had to reinstall Mint twice, but then got it completely updated and almost completely back to what I had in the Galago. I also did not lose anything in my OpenMandriva Lx 4.1 partition....
About 3-4 years ago I bought a Humble Bundle of StackSkills classes, Linux Power Bundle. Last night I finally finished 3 of them and have a good start on a 4th (about 68%). I can no longer consider myself exactly a n00b, although I'm sure I didn't learn everything the instructor thought he taught me.
