A very strange thing has just happened! I have lost the border round Firefox? It's not in full screen mode either. The only thing I did last night was, I installed Kmess, which is for my hotmail contacts. I am using Gnome desktop and Kmess is for KDE I know the apps should work OK but it is the only thing I have done. I will remove Kmess and see what happens.
The only other thing is the fact that this version of Ubuntu Ibex has KDE installed, because the DVD came with Linux Format Magazine, and so it is a tweaked Ubuntu! I may be barking up the wrong tree I don't know? I am not at a loss though because I "pinged" this computer this week, and it only takes 15 mins to restore back to how it was two days ago :-)
