KnoppMyth R5D1 basic setup / TV listings for Perth Australia

Posted 12-11-2006 at 03:41 AM by Caysho

This is based on these two walkthroughs:
http://bjblaster.homedns.org/project...htv/index.html This has more information about the rest of the setup than what I have here.
http://www.cse.unsw.edu.au/~willu/xm...ab_au_reg.html Small and concise.

I've blown up my box twice now, and took notes both times :)
This now takes me about 30 minutes to do.

Question regarding configuring wireless network card type Netgear WG511, V.3

Posted 12-07-2006 at 02:43 PM by Dariusz Szydlowski

Hello everyone familiar to linux.
Since changing the OS on my laptop, the wireless network card (Netgear WG511, V3) is not powered up at all (therefore, obviously is not working). None of the LED lights is on(there are two lights: one for power on, the other one for activity.)Because this card was working in Windows XP platform, I am sure it is not damaged. My linux OS is the "Freespire bootable CD". I have read a article in other blogs about how to configure this card. I am not...

Synaptic is a graphical user interface (GUI) for managing software packages on Debian-based distributions. If you are using Debian or Ubuntu you will easily find Synaptic in the System Tools menu or in the Administration menu. Synaptic uses the GTK graphic libraries . So, if you are using GNOME on your debian-based distro you will probably have Synaptic installed as well. Synaptic is a graphical package management program for apt. All grown up ...

Posted 12-03-2006 at 06:21 PM by comprookie2000

I pat myself on the back that I'm not doing what I did in my 20's and 30's, chasing ladys, hanging out in bars, gambling etc. that I have a clean hobby. But when I look closer I am doing what I did when I was 5 or 6. Taking apart radios and model cars and not getting them back together. I have never grown up. I made it to the 30's or 40's but now at 51 I have reverted to an earlier age.
