So many distros...

So off I went searching for a distro that I can learn Linux on, and found Slackware, the oldest running Linux distro. Slackware does not have...

Introduction

Posted 08-13-2008 at 07:41 AM by Eredeath

Since I have a blog on here, it makes sense to make some use of it. Never having a blog before this is going to be very experimental. But, when I tryed to run it on 3 other mashines, on two of them it has problems...

Posted 08-12-2008 at 02:47 PM by grepmasterd

I've had varying results, but in some setups I've noticed that I cannot
invoke a usable telnet session to a windows telnet server (running
Microsoft's native telnet server). The return key doesn't work and the
characters I type are sent in chunks. I've mainly run into this behavior
when I've configured the windows telnet server to run on a non-standard
port, like port 923.

To address the issue, update /etc/telnetrc or a .telnetrc in your home...
