August Distrohopping

We are almost ready to record the August episode (005) of Distrohoppers' Digest. We will be recording this on Wednesday, a 7 am Easter US time, and it will be sent out within 2-3 days after that.

So I went ahead an "sinned" in the eyes of some crowds by "talking about" a hush hush issue and/or "the impossible". A new init system. (THERE ARE ALREADY ALTERNATIVE INIT SYSTEMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). Roger that mr negative.

Projects: unixadminbot, Log::Slogger, File::Valet

So .. in this post (post #323 in case that link is flawed) I referenced my unixadminbot project for illustration, and someone else in the thread expressed interest in using it.

The problem is that the original unixadminbot is the intellectual property of The Internet Archive, and is embarrassingly horrible code anyway. I've been meaning to do a "cleanroom re-implementation" of it anyway, so I could clean up the code, generalize it a bit, and open source it for the world...

Which distroes have I used and which have I tried?

I thought it would be interesting to note down all the ones I've used and tried, just do anyone with any questions don't think I don't know what I am talking about in regards to different distroes, and as a reference point:
