would gobolinux work with bedrock?

Has anyone tried a hijack install over GoboLinux? The reason I ask is the interesting way that programs are organized in gobo. Oh, and the fact user 0 is not called root. Yikes, at this last.

  • AFAIK it's not been tested.
  • It likely won't "just work" with existing Bedrock Linux settings (e.g. the default framework collection of settings). However, it may be possible that someone familiar with both Gobo and Bedrock could create settings which would result in the bulk of it working. I'll make an effort to do so myself at some point in the future, after higher priority things are done.
  • It uses Gobo-specific kernel patches to do some filesystem abstraction. They might break things. However, I think these are optional - using a non-Gobo kernel, or a Gobo kernel with these disabled, might work.
