I know this may not be a FreeBSD-specific problem, but I'm posting it here in case the solution may be FreeBSD-specific.


For some reason, I can't get Nautilus to mount CD-ROM drives by using the desktop right-click -> Disks function. When I do a mount_cd9660 /dev/cd0 /cdrom0 - it works fine, and I can umount fine too.

I noticed that when I mount through a terminal and flick back to the desktop, Nautilus is reporting the CD label as garbage... but I can read the files fine.


Suggestions? Comments? Flames?


This is the only "issue" I am having with my install now

check and see where nautilus thinks your cdrom device is, where its mounting it to, etc. could just be that it has the wrong parameters. I'm not sure where you would check this, but I am guessing right click ---> properties or something similar
