needing some help on installing 56k modem on 8.04 server

Hi Guys
I am just wondering if anybody could help me install Agere Systems LT WinModem onto 8.04 Server for my fax server.

Right after the line that says "---- end Softmodem Section" It lists a URL and instructions for obtaining the driver module, which presumably comes with it's own instructions.

Personally I prefer the better performance and not having to mess with drivers for software based modems and just grabbed a controller based on off e-Bay.

you are saying use a external modem then?

External or internal with a hardware based controller.
