difficulties in modem instalation Agere systems PCI soft modem


suse 9.2 doesn't recognize Agere systems PCI soft modem. How to install it?

google for scanModem
Note: softmodem=winmodem
download and run it according to instructions
read all the input it gives you + the .txt text files it produces under the Modem folder.
if don't understand, send the resulting ModemData.txt to the email address given in the ModemData.txt
