Any comments regarding the differences between slackware.com and slackware.org?

Apparently slackware.com is the official slackware site, not slackware.org.

Is that any reason to avoid slackware.org? Or, are the two sites buddy-buddy enough to use either?

Just curious.

The 2 sites are exactly the same apparently if they are using a CNAME. However, I'd probably poke around before taking someone's word for it. He!!, you could probably email Patrick and he might tell you 'officially'.

well, the ftp is slackware.com ,so I assume that thats the official site.

These people were too lazy to set up their own FTP server, moochers.

To my knowledge www.slackware.org and www.slackware.com are the same. If I get it right, www.slackware.org is the master, and www.slackware.com is the mirror. The latter is recommended for downloads as it has much more bandwidth (as documented in the list of mirrors).
