The 2 sites are exactly the same apparently if they are using a CNAME. However, I'd probably poke around before taking someone's word for it. He!!, you could probably email Patrick and he might tell you 'officially'.

well, the ftp is ,so I assume that thats the official site.

These people were too lazy to set up their own FTP server, moochers.

To my knowledge and are the same. If I get it right, is the master, and is the mirror. The latter is recommended for downloads as it has much more bandwidth (as documented in the list of mirrors).
