Downloading www.slackware.org

I thought I downloaded the ISO's from the slackware site but each download was only 52kb in size.

Has anyone tried to download from there? Whats the issue there...?

Try this for Disk 1: ftp://ftp.kpn.be/pub/linux/slackware...install-d1.iso

and this for Disk 2: ftp://ftp.kpn.be/pub/linux/slackware...install-d2.iso

A great central source for ISO's is: http://www.linuxiso.org/

more than likely the files you downloaded were the checksums, because the iso's for 9.1 are not availible by the actual slackware site

i'm not sure if slack 9.1 is hosted by many fast ftp sites, just download bittorrent and download the torrent files (they are normal iso's when they finish downloading)

i downloaded both cd's in under 2 hours using bittorent, just give it some time if u get really slow speeds and are using broadband, it will easily reach in excess of 200 kbps
