Problem making ati driver

Hello again,

I am getting an error when trying to compile the ATI driver on Slack 12.2.
Here is the error:

make: *** [kmod_build] Error 2
build failed with return value 2
ERROR: i don't have make module

I just compiled a 2.6.29.2 kernel and was wondering if I missed some sort of option in the compile process and have looked it all over and don't think I have missed anything.

Could someone please let me know what this error means? If I missed something in the compile process that is fine to, I can fix that (kinda a newb at the whole kernel thing, altho I have done a few a long time ago).

Thanks in advance for the help!

Are you talking about the catalyst driver fglrx? If so, it's not working yet with the 2.6.29 kernels, as far as I can tell. A few people have figured out a patch and you can do web-searches to find.
