Problem making Linux-WLAN driver, newbie needs help.

Hey all.

I am a super newbie and am having trouble making (compiling) the Linux-WLAN driver.

I downloaded the newest set of files from linux-wlan.org and un-tared them. I then installed the kernal (added the folder /usr/scr/linux-2.4.20-6) by using the Add/Remove packages program. I added the Developer package from the RedHat 9 CD.

I next ran 'make config' and followed the instructions, without any problems. I finally saw the message 'Configuration successful'.

HOWEVER, when I ran the command 'make all' I ran into problems. I ran into errors and do not know what they mean or how to fix them. They are listed below, and if anyone could help me I would greatly appriciate it.

I followed the the README very closely. At first I couldn't do anything because I DID NOT HAVE THE /usr/scr/linux folder that the README, but I used the Add/Remove program to add the 'Kernel Development' package.

Output (I had to write by hand, so sorry for any typos):

Configuration successful.

[sabaka@localhost linux-wlan-ng-0.2.1-pre9]$ make all

set -e; for d in src doc man etc; do make -C $d ; done

Looks to me like there is a typo in your source files. Unless the package came with its own compiler.

You could try linking /usr/bin/gcc with /usr/bin/ngcc and then running it. Man ln and read all of the words, the info ln and read all of those words you do not want to nuke gcc.
