The Slackware website has the old logo again, although the news item about the new logo is still there and the products in the Slackware store all use the new logo. Did they restore the old logo after all of the protests? Maybe there are two official logos now? I hope the old logo is back to stay, maybe with the new logo as an alternate for the people who like it better.
Pat listens to Slackware users, regardless of how stupid their argument is.
I'd be more careful with that; even if you considered some arguments 'stupid', remember it's only your opinion, and is very probably affected by your personal likings.
I like seeing the old logo there and hope that it remains there. The ambigram logo wasn't a bad idea, but it simply didn't look good enough compared to the old one. If it was well re-thought and made look less 'wars than 'ware I think it might actually beat the old one. Might.
Well, I know of three new T-shirts and own two of them.
And I hope the new logo will at least make it to the propaganda page and that new T-shirts will continue to sell. I like(d) the new logo. Although I agree that it can be misread, I think that the point of a logo is not necessarily to present the name of the product, but to visually distinguish it from others.
But I never complained of the old logo, either. So as long as the new logo remains to be one of the available logos for propaganda, I am happy.
Stupid argument, stupid poll, stupid thread ... . But you never explain why. Why all this things are stupid and you don't?
Ignoring the grammatical inaccuracies in your post, I think I made myself clear already. It's a logo that exists solely on one page of the Slackware website and on some unofficial Cafe Press merchandise. If you didn't want to see the logo you would never have to -- it was never in the actual Slackware distribution itself. It is merely a logo, and reflects nothing about the distro. I agree with Bruce Hill -- give it a rest. You complained, you won. It's over, right?
It's a stupid topic and a stupid poll. Free speech perhaps, but it's still idiocy.

Ignoring the fact that I never said that I don't want to see the logo and the fact that I never complained, it's hard to me to understand why all these things are stupid (here I include my arguments, too), because I'm not a native english speaker, so I must first translate and then understand and then translate my stupid/idiot opinion back in English.
Ignoring also a logical fault

I'm finishing here my stupid post.
Have a nice day!
Road_map
Road_map, a lot is being lost in the translation. Your posts aren't stupid, just not coming across clear. I'm glad the old logo is back but that's not saying the new was a problem. Just a flippy doesn't really represent Slackware as it should. That's my opinion.
Just remember everyone has a opinion, not that theirs my be right but from their point of view it has validity. I remember a long time ago you and I had a small misunderstanding. That was based on mis-information and translation, we finally worked it out.
It's nice to have a forum of this type but sometimes personalities get in the mix, add a little misunderstanding along with some vague replies an you get a bitter stew.
This thread should really be put to rest or moved to general since the thread is drifting.
It should be noted that I am a highly sarcastic person, and most of the time I am kidding. I'm not saying I was strictly kidding (I am tired of the complaining), but I often exaggerate. This is not expressed well in text, and I was in no way calling you or your opinions stupid Road_map. Although I still hold the opinion that this discussion is pointless, it did provoke change, so everyone (not necessarily you) seems to have gotten what they wanted. I think this topic should be laid to rest, and I don't think I will comment further.
[edit]And, just for you Road_map, I will be sure to find every synonym of the word 'stupid' in a thesaurus to provide some variation to my complaints. (Just kidding of course)[/edit]
