Question How to convert the .dll file to .so file?


i have the source code for the dll file,and i want to convert it to .so file.the dll file has declared some functions like this in the .c file
declspec (dllexport) etc...and i want to use this program in linux(open suse).Can some one tell me how to do it?
is it through Wine? then how to do it exactly..please let me know from the scratch...thnks in advance..

?? what is the library , it's name ? Where did you get it ?

It might have a linux version - or not. And might need a full rewrite - or not ?
with out knowing what the code is - we can not help .
