Arrow howto convert .flw (koffice/kivio file) into windows readable type of file?

Basically it is all said in the subject

Anyone having any suggestions on how to display a .flw file under windows?
It can be viewed using kivio (of koffice) und linux but I need to convert, save, print, whatever it to some format that can be viewed by a windows user

Tried to print it into a pdf, but it always only shows the top left page of the whole file ...

thx for any suggestions

Under the save-as menu of kivio I see options such as Adobe Illustrator (if it is installed on said windows system), or if not, it also shows SVG that I assume a number of Windows programs can open (although it has been years since I touched a Windows system).

What I think he means is he has a number of files saved in that format and doesn't want to manually save them in another format. Or am I wrong?

No it is actually only one file.
Unfortunately I cannot "save as" anything else than .flw
Under Page->Export I though found an option to convert it to a jpeg. Not the best way, but suitable.

Anyway the I couldn't export the file to other formats using File->Export.

Do I have to install the export filters for Koffice manually? And if so, how?

Well, from what I've read, due to visio having a proprietary format, exporting diagrams is a low priority for kivio. However, I believe you can install kivio on a windows machine. So the only way I know how is to get another copy for windows and you wouldn't need to change the format.

Hmm, the jpeg is a sufficient workaround in my case.
@Snowman: Where could I get that windows version of koffice / kivio?

I cannot find anything like that at koffice.org and AFAIK it does not work with cygwin either...

I'm not sure, but I believe there are 2 different versions. One that comes with Koffice and a standalone one made by a different company. Here is a link to the second: http://www.thekompany.com/products/kivio/

Thanx for the link, snowman

Put there may be more to the prob. The file is a .flw.
Anyways, kivio mp (demo) cannot open it
It does not seem to know tha file type?!?

Well it should
http://filext.com/detaillist.php?extdetail=.flw

Shouldn't it?
Isn't .flw a kivio file?!?
And does anyone have any suggestions on how to open / view it under windows or export it into a windows readable format?
