No, not this time.

Hi,

I was using user agent switcher but I disabled the add-on then edit my about:config for 'useragent' to show;
Code:
 Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Slackware Linux x86_64; rv:90.0.2) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/90.0.2
I think it is working because when I go to; https://www.whatismybrowser.com/dete...-my-user-agent it reports as;
Code:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Slackware Linux x86_64; rv:90.0.2) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/90.0.2
So I guess it's right.

Edit: My badge reports LinuxSlackware with the S logo. So it seems to be OK.

@harryhaller... yours is working fine. I see it on both your posts above.

@onebuck... yours is working fine, also. Actually, that's the exact same useragent string I'm using.

By the way, in FF 90.x, I noticed that useragent is handled a bit differently than it was a pre-Proton. When I used about:config the first time in 90.0.2, there was no string listed in there. I clicked the + at the bottom of the list and created my own "general.useragent.override" string.

Hi,

I had just upgraded FF to 90.0.2 and when I went into about:config the override was there. Just edit the lines to reflect the 90.0.2 rev.

No problems. I noticed that when I use the user agent switcher it is not always reliable. At least not for me. So I will leave my user agent as I have set it up.

I did notice that when I edited my post that a "?" was on the badge after save until a refresh then badge was correct.

Hmm... odd that I couldn't find it the other day after installing 90.0.2 using Ruario's script. Maybe it actually was there, I just hadn't had enough coffee that morning.

And yes, when I post this post, it will show the circled ? mark, but after refresh, it shows Slack's blue icon.

Of course, as soon as I make a statement like this, it makes me a liar.

Testing with
- LQ Edit Options Show User Agent in Posts Yes
- Added to FF about:config
general.useragent.override (string)
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Slackware Linux x86_64; rv:68.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/68.0

Edit: Not working for me for Slackware64 14.2, FF 68.12.0esr. Will have to change something else.

Edit to my edit: now I see the Slackware icon.

Ah.. just noticed something interesting. If I post with Quick Reply, the Slack icon doesn't show till I refresh the page, but if I post "Go Advanced", then it appears immediately.
